About the role
This position is for a Kidswear Buyer based in Bengaluru. The role is focused on planning assortment needs, evaluating market trends, and managing buying decisions for the kidswear category on behalf of a leading brand.
Key responsibilities
- Plan purchase quantities in line with OTB guidelines and buying targets.
- Visit stores and competitor locations to review the merchandise mix, pricing structure, and new labels entering the market.
- Support vendor management activities and maintain productive supplier relationships.
- Stay up to date on market conditions, including price movements and available sources/resources.
- Use market insights to help shape assortment decisions and category performance.
