Role overview
This position is for a Business Sales Associate who will manage inbound interest from businesses seeking lead generation support and turn those opportunities into lasting client relationships. The job calls for someone who is comfortable speaking on the phone, able to build trust quickly, and confident in moving prospects through each stage of the sales process.
You will contribute directly to revenue growth by identifying client needs, recommending suitable solutions, and closing new business.
Key responsibilities
- Handle incoming sales queries from potential clients through phone calls, email, and web-generated leads.
- Assess prospective businesses and uncover their marketing and lead acquisition requirements.
- Explain the company’s services, pricing structure, and overall value to prospects.
- Run sales conversations and presentations aimed at converting leads into active customers.
- Develop and maintain strong connections with both prospective and current clients.
- Follow up regularly with leads across the full sales cycle.
- Draft proposals, service contracts, and onboarding paperwork.
- Consistently work toward or surpass monthly targets for sales and conversion.
- Keep CRM records current with all sales activity and client communication.
- Work with internal teams to support a smooth onboarding process and a positive client experience.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offers, and industry changes to position the service effectively.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field is preferred.
- Prior experience in sales, business development, account management, or other client-facing work.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- A self-driven approach with a strong focus on results.
- Comfort handling multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and organizational capability.
- Ability to work collaboratively while also operating independently when necessary.
Compensation and benefits
- Annual base pay of $55,000 to $75,000.
- Estimated commission earnings of $20,000 per year.
