Overview
In the role of Business Intelligence Lead based in Houston, TX with hybrid onsite requirements, you will spearhead the advancement and team enablement of AI-driven automation using Microsoft Power Automate, Databricks, and related platforms. Your leadership will focus on delivering AI-enabled workflows that enhance efficiency, promote governed operations, and accelerate business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and conduct comprehensive training sessions, workshops, and resource materials on Power Automate, Databricks, AI tools with a focus on CoPilot, Google ADK/Gemini, Claude models, prompt engineering, and automation methodologies.
- Act as a subject matter expert to coach FP&A analysts and cross-departmental teams on adopting AI and automation capabilities effectively.
- Collaborate with FP&A, IT, and business units to pinpoint and prioritize impactful AI and automation project opportunities.
- Contribute to the architecture, development, testing, documentation, and deployment of AI solutions, Power Automate workflows, Databricks data processes, and reusable automation components.
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable automation plans, solution designs, and process maps.
- Advocate for responsible AI use through compliance with data governance, access management, connector approvals, testing protocols, monitoring, and support.
- Develop standardized templates, training materials, exemplar solutions, and playbooks to encourage scalable and consistent automation implementations.
- Support evaluation and prioritization of AI and automation initiatives by assessing complexity, data sensitivity, business impact, and implementation strategy.
- Coordinate with enterprise teams covering AI, data architecture, security, and governance to ensure solution alignment with corporate policies.
- Monitor and report on adoption rates, training effectiveness, automation workflow progress, value realization, and ongoing improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, data analytics, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven expertise in developing or facilitating automation through Microsoft Power Automate, Power Platform, or similar workflow tools.
- Working familiarity with AI concepts, generative AI applications, prompt engineering techniques, responsible AI frameworks, and productivity-enhancing AI tools.
- Knowledge of Databricks, data lakes, pipeline architectures, governed data environments, analytics workflows, or comparable cloud data technologies.
- Strong ability to train and communicate technical ideas to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
- Experience in eliciting requirements, process documentation, solution design, and implementation coordination among multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, writing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Competency in managing competing priorities, clarifying fuzzy problems, and driving projects forward through teamwork.
- Awareness of governance, risk management, compliance, data privacy, and security issues related to AI, automation, and data usage in the enterprise context.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications and/or hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Power Platform, Databricks, Azure, and AI tools especially CoPilot, Google ADK/Gemini, and Claude.
- Experience building Power Automate flows integrating Microsoft 365 apps, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, APIs, and official enterprise connectors.
- Background in data prep, dashboard reporting, model testing, and analytics delivery using Databricks or similar environments.
- Skills in change management, developing training programs, technical documentation, and adoption analytics.
