- Salary range of $80,000-$90,000 base plus KPI-based commissions, with on-target earnings between $126,000 and $136,000 and no cap on commission
Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, you will predominantly work out in the field, engaging directly with restaurant owners to form and nurture partnerships that expand the EatClub platform. You'll have full responsibility for building your territory by identifying and approaching suitable venues, conducting in-person meetings, and managing follow-ups. Your activities will include explaining the platform's benefits, negotiating agreements, onboarding new venues, and tracking your sales pipeline meticulously.
Typical Weekly Activities
- Proactively identify and reach out to potential restaurant partners via walk-ins, cold calls, and scheduled meetings
- Build face-to-face relationships with venue owners and operators across Perth and nearby areas
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations that highlight how EatClub can increase venue revenue
- Manage a robust, active sales pipeline within your designated territory
- Close sales deals through negotiation and commercial agreement finalization
- Assist newly signed venues during their initial campaigns on the platform
- Maintain updated records of all pipeline activities in CRM systems
Key Projects
- Support EatClub launches in new cities by developing strong venue pipelines and identifying focus areas
- Provide continual feedback to refine sales strategies including messaging and objection handling
- Contribute to new city market entries by collaborating with the launch team
Candidate Profile
- Proven success in sales or business development with clear target achievement
- Comfortable with proactive outreach, including cold calls and in-person meetings
- Capable of independently managing sales pipelines and advancing deals
- Skilled in solution presentations and commercial negotiation
- Experience in hospitality, food tech, SaaS, or marketplaces is advantageous
- Existing network within the hospitality sector is a plus
- Experience in launching or growing new markets preferred
