About the Role
Mercor is a San Francisco-based company that connects top creative and technical experts with leading AI research laboratories. It is backed by investors such as Benchmark, General Catalyst, and notable figures including Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.
We are seeking Management & Strategy Consultants from elite consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or other Big 5) for a contract role offering remote work.
Responsibilities
- Perform market research and analyze competitors to improve training of AI models.
- Create business cases, devise operational frameworks, and formulate go-to-market strategies aimed at optimizing AI systems.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights using presentations, memos, and analytical models that guide AI outputs.
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to establish key metrics and decision-making criteria for AI evaluation.
- Assist with strategic planning, develop scenario models, and assess opportunities to enhance AI effectiveness.
Qualifications
- At least 1.5 years of professional experience at a premier management consulting firm such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or other Big 5 consultancies.
- Excellent analytical abilities and strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to operate independently and thrive in uncertain or fast-changing environments.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and fundamental data analysis software.
- Preferred experience includes consulting in technology, artificial intelligence, or SaaS sectors.
Compensation and Commitment
This contract position offers pay of $100 per hour. Candidates should be available to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week.
