Overview
This position is a 12-month maximum term contract based in Sydney (Gadigal) or Melbourne (Naarm), focused on enhancing risk assessment and compliance processes to improve client experiences. The role involves leveraging AI and automation to streamline risk pathways and designing effective risk management frameworks across the client engagement lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyse global and local policies, risk assessments, controls, and approval requirements to identify redundancies and inefficiencies.
- Design and optimise risk pathways aligned with compliance obligations and risk appetite.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and business teams to translate risk criteria into clear actionable business rules and process designs.
- Contribute to the creation of future-state risk assessment models, decision trees, and governance frameworks that improve operational efficiency and risk oversight.
- Identify opportunities to standardize risk data inputs, simplify questionnaires, and reduce redundant review procedures through a proportional risk-based approach.
- Support testing and validation phases to ensure redesigned processes meet business and risk objectives.
- Prepare detailed analysis, business requirement documents, and risk-related materials to facilitate successful implementation.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience leading business transformation or risk-related change projects within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Proficient in interpreting regulatory policies and translating them into governance processes and future process designs.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including collaboration with senior executives and risk/compliance teams.
- Expertise in process mapping and redesign, specifically within customer onboarding risk workflows.
- Excellent analytical ability to detect patterns, risks, and improvement opportunities across various systems and feedback inputs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience facilitating working groups to build consensus using collaborative visual tools like whiteboarding.
- Familiarity with enterprise risk platforms and technologies such as Salesforce, including understanding system integration and business process impact.
