Business Analyst

Role Overview

We seek an experienced Business Analyst specialized in the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) domain, notably in areas like Name Screening, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Transaction Monitoring. The role is located in Singapore and demands a decade or more of banking industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage closely with business stakeholders to extract and understand requirements.
• Conduct thorough requirements analysis and elicitation activities.
• Collaborate with business specialists to review and verify business needs.
• Map and document future-state business and operational processes reflecting approved requirements and functional points, assessing impacts.
• Define comprehensive functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business goals and migration plans.
• Track and control risks and issues related to requirements and mitigate scope creep.
• Prepare business functional release notes and assist in deployment planning.
• Document requirements conforming to banking industry standards.
• Grasp the current technological environment to facilitate seamless integration.
• Innovatively engage stakeholders to optimize system and operational workflows.
• Coordinate with operational units to establish new procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with system analysts and architects to ensure full comprehension of business requirement documents.
• Create and maintain traceability matrices for requirements.
• Verify and validate capabilities against business requirement documents.
• Draft scope and assumptions to support IT management approval processes.
• Manage changes during the analysis phase.
• Review and approve functional specifications developed by system analysts.
• Assess test cases with System Integration Test (SIT) teams.
• Support both SIT and User Acceptance Test (UAT) phases.
