This position is ideal for someone passionate about analyzing complex business needs, driving process improvement, and supporting technological transformation within the banking sector.

  • Act as the central point of contact among business units, technology partners, engineering teams, and control functions to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Lead and organize requirements-gathering and design sessions to produce deliverables like use cases, user stories, and sequence diagrams.
  • Simultaneously contribute to multiple projects as a collaborative team member, primarily within Agile and Scrum frameworks using Kanban methodology.
  • Write and maintain user stories in JIRA and project documentation in Confluence; manage and prioritize the product backlog and release timelines.
  • Conduct data mapping and technical analysis to support migration from existing to new systems.
  • Assist in high-level solution design and project estimation in collaboration with business leaders, architects, and application teams.
  • Facilitate communication across functions, ensuring understanding of technical and business requirements, and maintain project documentation for broad accessibility.
  • Support testing efforts by preparing test cases and assist in execution, contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency.
  • Lead or contribute to the delivery of business systems analysis for complex processes and champion a client-focused and inclusive culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
  • Over 10 years of hands-on experience as a Technical/Systems Business Analyst, including the creation of business analysis artifacts like user stories and data mapping documents.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience configuring or supporting OpenText Exstream.
  • Minimum of 3 years in roles involving data modeling, mapping, and dictionary creation.
  • 3+ years of involvement in Agile Scrum environments, with a solid grasp of Agile practices and processes.
  • 5+ years using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences and distil complex requirements into actionable stories.
  • Experience in testing (test preparation and execution), Swimlane Diagrams, User Journeys, and leading BSA teams for project delivery.
  • Demonstrated history in financial software development organizations.

Desired Attributes

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven capacity to solve problems in ambiguous situations and make decisions under pressure.

  • Participation in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and groups, fostering an empowering workplace for all employees.
  • Focus on accessibility and workplace accommodations to ensure a barrier-free environment.
  • Opportunities for professional growth through online learning, cross-functional projects, and tuition assistance programs.
  • Comprehensive rewards package, including bonuses, flexible vacation, and health benefits starting on day one.
