Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Boutique Tailor in Mumbai to provide expert garment consultation and tailoring services. This role requires assisting customers in making purchase choices, especially for bridal orders and embroidery work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in using stitching machines, accurately taking client measurements, and coordinating alterations to meet customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide customers in selecting products suitable for their needs.
- Understand client requirements particularly for bridal outfits, embroidery, and special orders.
- Operate stitching machines and accurately measure clients for tailoring.
- Liaise with tailors to ensure garment alterations align with customer expectations, including dresses, blouses, suits, wedding, and bridal gowns.
- Maintain a tidy and well-organized store environment and provide detailed information about various cloth materials.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage new stock arrivals, and report any shortages or missing items.
- Perform precise measurements and execute cutting, stitching, and fitting adjustments accurately.
- Welcome customers warmly and respond to their inquiries effectively.
Additional Information
The position offers a monthly salary ranging between 10,000 and 18,000 INR. The role is based onsite in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
