Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Body Builder to join our team in various locations throughout Newcastle, NSW. This role involves assessing vehicle damage and coordinating repairs to ensure timely and quality restoration work.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the extent of vehicle damage to determine necessary restoration methods.
• Maintain and properly use the chassis crush equipment.
• Handle company tools and equipment with care and respect, preserving their condition.
• Communicate with the Parts Interpreter regarding any additional parts required beyond initial estimates.
• Collaborate with workshop colleagues to manage workflow efficiently.
• Report any product shortages that could impact production timelines.
• Daily review of work schedules to ensure deadlines and timeframes are adhered to.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of relevant trade qualifications.
• Basic mechanical understanding to manage and maintain tools effectively.
• Strong technical aptitude and a keen interest in technical aspects of the role.

• Competitive salary packages: Junior to mid-level tradespeople can expect between $60,000 and $80,000 annually; experienced mid to senior tradespeople can earn from $80,000 up to $100,000 annually.
