About the Role
Yuno Energy is seeking a full-time Billing & Reporting Analyst based in Sandyford, Dublin 18, working with a hybrid schedule. The role focuses on thoroughly mapping current billing processes, including assurance, exception handling, collections, and payment arrangements, achieving a unified and accurate workflow perspective. The analyst will be responsible for a quarterly process improvement roadmap developed alongside the internal development team. This aims to boost automation, minimize manual inputs, enhance team productivity, and reduce operational and compliance risks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Document and assess end-to-end billing workflows, capturing all steps and interactions across relevant operational streams using proper process mapping tools.
- Spot inefficiencies and control weaknesses, translating these into prioritized opportunities for process enhancement.
- Lead the creation and management of a quarterly process improvement roadmap coordinating with the development team, ensuring targets for automation, capacity building, and risk mitigation are met. Facilitate workshops to validate current processes and finalize new designs.
- Create and maintain a centralized reporting system providing management information and operational queue insights, leveraging Power BI and SQL.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of report data by validating sources and reconciling information against primary systems, and offer data-backed recommendations to drive adoption.
- Collect, document, and review business requirements related to billing and collections changes, collaborating with IT, Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience stakeholders.
- Develop compelling business cases aligning with company objectives, moving requirements through approval phases prior to execution.
- Oversee change management pipelines including bugs, defects, and feature requests; promote operational priorities and provide structured updates for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support testing phases and user acceptance testing (UAT), coordinate system implementations, and ensure changes comply with regulatory and internal controls before final approval.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis, process improvement, or reporting roles, particularly within utilities, financial services, or other regulated high-volume environments.
- Proficiency in process mapping using recognized tools for capturing and updating detailed end-to-end processes.
- Advanced skills in reporting and analytics, particularly with Power BI and SQL, including dashboard creation and operational performance tracking.
- Strong discipline in ensuring data quality, including source validation and reconciliation against record systems; skilled in drafting clear business requirements and business cases.
- Excellent communication abilities with capacity to influence varied audiences and lead workshops, while managing multiple priorities including change pipelines and delivery roadmaps.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of the Irish energy market covering billing, collections, and regulatory standards (CRU).
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as CRM Evo, Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate), and case management systems.
- Exposure to automation and low-code platforms, especially in collaboration with development teams throughout project lifecycles.
