Bid Manager

Role Overview

You will join our client's regional sales support hub for Compression, focusing on creating customer quotes for spare parts, repair jobs, and complete outage projects including field service. Your role involves advising and assisting Client Managers by understanding customer needs and uncovering service opportunities. Coordination between Product Competence Centers and multiple stakeholders such as supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, service project management, and client managers will be essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for services.
• Offer administrative, technical, and commercial support to the sales team.
• Develop proposal scopes in collaboration with various departments and business units.
• Request and obtain pricing details from affiliate vendors to aid proposal preparation.
• Collaborate with different departments to manage orders effectively.
• Participate actively in initiatives aimed at improving processes.

Candidate Profile

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
• Familiarity with rotating equipment, sales processes, sales cycles, and CRM tools such as Salesforce or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Experience handling complex tender preparation with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong commercial insight and business understanding paired with excellent communication skills.
• Dedicated work ethic, teamwork orientation, and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Preferably experience working closely within sales teams and handling sales-related calculations.

Additional Information

• Location: Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
• Salary: 17,000 SAR, all inclusive.
• This role reports to the Head of Sales Support - Bid Management Middle East for Compression.
• Candidates must be willing to work onsite five days a week in the office.
