BI Analyst

About the role

Albertsons Companies is hiring an Analyst III to support smarter business decisions through data-driven analysis, performance measurement, and insight generation. The job can be based in Pleasanton, California or Phoenix, Arizona.

Key responsibilities

• Pull together and examine data from multiple sources to surface trends, opportunities, and business risks.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentation materials that convert complex information into useful guidance for stakeholders.
• Review processes and workflows and suggest changes that improve performance and efficiency.
• Work with cross-functional teams to clarify business needs and provide analytical support on important initiatives.
• Develop and maintain data models, performance measures, and tracking tools used for monitoring and forecasting.
• Present insights in a clear, concise way so recommendations support business objectives and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, finance, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of practical analytical experience.
• Working knowledge of analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and reporting platforms.
• Ability to turn large datasets into meaningful, actionable insight.
• Strong organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record of delivering quality work in a fast-paced setting.
