Role Overview

As a Barista, you are responsible for crafting exceptional coffee experiences that tell stories of enthusiasm, expertise, and innovation. Your commitment to producing high-quality beverages, meticulous attention to quality and presentation, and warm customer service will contribute significantly to creating memorable moments in various settings including breakfast service, à la carte dining, banquets, and special events.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse array of coffee and tea beverages such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks.
• Consistently deliver beverages that meet taste, appearance, and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain café equipment including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices.
• Efficiently set up and maintain mise en place to ensure smooth workflow during busy periods.
• Adhere to standardized recipes and presentation methods while incorporating creativity into drink options.
• Maintain impeccable hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with service and kitchen teams to ensure flawless service across restaurants, banquets, and events.
• Manage guest dietary needs, special requests, and feedback with professionalism and care.
• Proactively enhance your coffee and tea knowledge and barista expertise under the mentorship of senior staff.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience as a barista in hospitality settings such as hotels, cafés, or fine dining.
• Preferred certifications or formal training in barista skills or hospitality.
• Strong enthusiasm for coffee and tea, focusing on quality and presentation details.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities to handle high-demand periods efficiently.
• Team-oriented with a positive mindset and willingness to learn and advance professionally.
• Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards within a professional environment.
