Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned AWS Architect to join our Coimbatore branch. The ideal candidate will have extensive IT experience with a strong focus on AWS infrastructure and migration, capable of leading and managing technical teams while providing round-the-clock support in a shift-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of on-premises and public cloud infrastructure.
- Lead cloud solution activities for large-scale, complex AWS migrations.
- Ensure solutions align with AWS strategies, stakeholder expectations, business application and infrastructure needs, and value-based commercial aspects.
- Analyze customer infrastructure landscapes and design AWS Landing Zones.
- Develop AWS target architecture, including bills of materials (BoM), pricing, and licensing specifics.
- Create architectural diagrams and high/low-level designs for AWS services.
- Troubleshoot AWS environments (Linux/Windows), addressing processor, networking, cluster, IO, and memory challenges.
- Design infrastructure, data storage, business continuity/disaster recovery, identity governance, and monitoring solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and project managers to understand migration requirements and propose effective solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 15 years in IT with at least 5 years focused on AWS infrastructure and migration.
- Strong expertise in networking, databases, IaaS, PaaS, storage, and security concepts.
- Experience guiding technical teams of over five members, including management and governance.
- Availability to provide 24x7 support and flexibility to work in shifts.
Desired Additional Skills and Certifications
- Exposure to designing identity governance and monitoring solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, positive attitude, and strong communication skills.
- Relevant certifications are a plus: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty, AWS Certified Security Specialty, ITIL v4 Foundation.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold a graduate degree or B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization.
