Role Overview

Join a passionate and purpose-driven team dedicated to transforming the lives and futures of children and young people. We seek a committed professional to enhance our devoted Attendance Team, focused on fostering inclusivity and motivating students to attend and engage fully, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves working closely with Senior Leadership to manage attendance for a designated year group, specifically emphasizing support for vulnerable and disadvantaged pupils. This includes ownership of first day calling procedures, promoting positive behaviours concerning attendance, safeguarding, and learning attitudes. Additionally, the candidate will provide advice and support promoting students' social care and personal growth in relation to their learning and health and safety.

About the Academy

As a popular 11–16 mainstream school in the West Midlands, our academy hosts specialized SEND provisions for pupils on the autistic spectrum and those who are deaf or hearing impaired, alongside a facility supporting social, emotional, and mental health needs. A bespoke sixth form provision supports students with educational health care plans (EHCPs) in Years 12 and 13. Our school actively collaborates with families, local schools, businesses, and community groups, prioritizing students in every decision.
