Associate Solution Architect (.NET & Azure)

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Associate Solution Architect specialized in .NET and Azure technologies to spearhead the design, architecture, and implementation of large-scale, cloud-native enterprise applications within the Microsoft technology ecosystem. This role merges architectural strategy, technical mentorship, governance, and active involvement with development teams to deliver robust solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Craft and define enterprise-level application architectures leveraging Microsoft and Azure cloud services.
• Create solution blueprints, set architectural guidelines, and chart technical roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
• Review and authorize designs, solution strategies, and implementation methodologies.
• Institute architectural standards emphasizing scalability, resilience, maintainability, security, and optimal performance.
• Lead architecture assessments, enforce technical governance, and uphold design assurance procedures.
• Drive initiatives focused on application modernization and cloud migration.
• Design mission-critical systems geared for high availability.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design and Event-Driven Architecture concepts appropriately.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to technical teams, advocating best practices and engineering excellence.
• Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist with project planning, risk assessment, and delivery management.
• Architect cloud-native solutions using Azure services, microservices, APIs, and event-driven platforms.
• Develop enterprise integration strategies supporting cloud transformation and platform migration efforts.
• Promote Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, secure coding, and establish CI/CD and DevOps standards.
• Engage stakeholders through technical discussions, workshops, and presentations, translating business needs into technical implementations.

Technical Expertise Required

• Proficient in .NET 8+, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core/MVC, RESTful API development, Microservices architecture, Entity Framework Core, Dependency Injection, and asynchronous programming.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, App Services, API Management, Storage Accounts, Application Insights, Monitoring, Observability, Security, and Identity services.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Dapr, Event-Driven Architecture, publish-subscribe patterns, and distributed system design.
• Experience with data technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, Redis Cache, ORM frameworks, and database performance tuning.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (xUnit), integration testing, and performance assessments.
• Understanding of security frameworks such as OAuth 2.0, JWT for authentication and authorization, secure API design, and application security best practices.
• Working knowledge of frontend technologies including TypeScript, React, Next.js, frontend architecture, reusable component designs, API integration, responsive design, accessibility, state management, and frontend performance optimization.

Preferred Experience

• Proven track record delivering enterprise-level digital transformation projects.
• Familiarity with Singapore public sector governance, security, compliance, and accessibility standards.
• Experience building secure, resilient, and highly available systems within regulated environments.
• Knowledge of public sector technology standards and delivery approaches.
