About the Company
Eliza is a technology services firm focused on helping businesses design and launch advanced AI solutions. Its work spans generative AI, custom LLM integrations, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation, with a strong emphasis on practical client outcomes across different industries.
Role Overview
The Associate AI Product Manager is the hands-on delivery counterpart to the AI Product Manager. The senior PM handles scope, strategy, and executive relationships, while this role keeps the work moving day to day by coordinating trainings, building capability, managing backlogs, and making progress visible. It is intended for someone with solid AI understanding who wants to learn the full product management craft by working directly on live client engagements from the outset.
Associates contribute to both of Eliza’s core engagement models:
- Forge — delivery of production AI systems, including backlog upkeep, requirement documentation, evaluation execution, and removing blockers for the build team.
- Fusion — workforce enablement work that includes training delivery, skill-building with client champions, persona workshops, and adoption tracking.
Assignments can span both tracks depending on account priorities and the associate’s development path, with guidance from the AI Product Managers they support.
Responsibilities
- Lead trainings and practical workshops for client groups ranging from analysts to senior executives.
- Create, test, and improve prompts, skills, and workflows alongside client champions, then turn successful approaches into repeatable learning material.
- Interview stakeholders to uncover valuable use cases and shape workshop content around real business workflows.
- Monitor adoption indicators such as usage depth, use-case completion, and time savings, and surface the implications of the data.
- Maintain a prioritized use-case backlog, updating feasibility, data readiness, and priority as discovery progresses.
- Convert notes from client working sessions into clear requirements the AI PM can later translate into specifications.
- Run evaluations by executing test sets, recording failure patterns, and summarizing findings to support quick quality decisions.
- Clear operational blockers such as access issues, missing data, scheduling conflicts, and approvals so engineers and PMs can stay focused on delivery.
- Prepare executive-facing updates covering progress, metrics, risks, and next steps in a concise, outcome-focused format.
- Keep roadmaps, status trackers, meeting notes, and action items accurate across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Coordinate calendars and logistics across clients, forward-deployed engineers, and Eliza leadership.
- Help build reusable internal assets such as curricula, skill libraries, workshop templates, and playbooks.
- Track relevant model and product launches and share the important takeaways with the team.
- Support broader delivery operations across the account and AI center of excellence work as needed.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in consulting, customer success, enablement/L&D, or product, with direct client-facing delivery experience.
- Strong practical fluency with AI tools, including regular use of frontier products such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar systems, plus a clear understanding of their current strengths and limits.
- Ability to facilitate discussions and present confidently to both skeptical analysts and executive audiences.
- Strong organizational discipline, with the ability to manage several workstreams across multiple accounts without losing track of details.
- Excellent written communication skills, including crisp notes, polished readouts, and straightforward language without unnecessary jargon or hype.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ownership of loosely defined work, along with the habit of asking sharp questions early.
- Preferred: practical experience building prompts, custom GPTs/skills, or lightweight automations.
- Preferred: experience creating training content or adult learning programs.
- Preferred: exposure to enterprise delivery practices such as sprints, backlogs, requirements writing, or QA/evaluation work.
- Preferred: familiarity with one of Eliza’s focus domains, such as finance/office of the CFO, private equity operations, or healthcare.
Perks and Benefits
- Competitive pay structure made up of base salary plus performance incentives linked to client outcomes.
- Equity opportunities in a growing AI services business.
- Exposure to a broad mix of industries and meaningful AI use cases.
- Optional travel for on-site client work.
- Collaborative, mission-driven team environment centered on practical AI impact.
Success Metrics
- Trainings and workshops are delivered on time and generate repeat interest from clients.
- Skills developed with client champions continue being used after the workshop ends, as shown by adoption data.
- Backlogs, trackers, and executive updates remain current without constant follow-up.
- The AI Product Managers supported by this role can spend significantly more time on strategy and scoping and acknowledge that benefit.
- Within 6 to 12 months, the associate is capable of independently handling AI PM responsibilities on smaller engagements.
