Overview
The Assistant Vice President – Projects will assist the Head of Project Planning & Execution by providing strategic leadership for the full lifecycle of luxury hospitality and mixed-use developments at DLF Hospitality. This role ensures projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality benchmarks while adhering to top-tier design, engineering, sustainability, guest experience, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of project strategies, governance, and delivery plans for luxury hotels, branded residences, clubs, and mixed-use properties.
- Manage projects from initial concept through to operational handover.
- Maintain strict adherence to timelines, budgets, quality, and brand standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams ensuring smooth collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Drive master planning, scheduling, and execution methods aligned with design, procurement, and construction efforts.
- Manage Owner-Driven Contracting (ODC) procurement, including contracting approach, bidding, vendor selection, contract administration, and claims oversight.
- Ensure design compliance with luxury hospitality brand standards, coordinating architectural, structural, MEP, and interior design deliverables.
- Oversee budgets, cost plans, value engineering, and financial tracking to optimize project costs without compromising quality and deadlines.
- Engage with internal leadership, consultants, contractors, operators, and present updates to steering committees and leadership teams.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensure contractual and regulatory compliance, and maintain project governance frameworks.
- Lead commissioning, testing, snag resolution, and final handover, coordinating with operations for smooth facility opening and readiness.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance while nurturing future leaders.
- Ensure integration of occupational health and safety practices throughout all project phases, monitoring compliance, mitigating risks, and driving safety audits and corrective actions.
Qualifications
- B.E. or B.Tech degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture (mandatory).
- M.Tech or MBA in Project or Construction Management is preferred.
- PMP certification is an advantage.
- Over 20 years of project management experience.
- Proven track record in managing luxury hospitality developments such as hotels, resorts, clubs, and branded residences.
- Experience with Owner-Driven Contracting (ODC) execution models is essential.
- Expertise managing complex large-scale construction projects from inception to commissioning.
- Experience collaborating with international consultants, architects, and hospitality operators.
Professional Knowledge
- Standards and development processes specific to luxury hospitality.
- ODC contracting models and processes.

- Cost control techniques and value engineering initiatives.
- Project risk identification and mitigation methods.
- Contract administration including familiarity with FIDIC contracts preferred.
