Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager at Spencer's plays a pivotal role in upholding excellent Guest Services. Supporting the Store Manager, this position ensures optimal store performance by leading staff development, managing expenses and shrinkage, and overseeing merchandising and inventory in line with company policies.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation ranges hourly from $19.13 to $19.38, determined by the candidate's qualifications and experience. Job Responsibilities

• Support overall store operations alongside the Store Manager.
• Promote and maintain superior Guest Services.
• Develop and manage store staff to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
• Control operating expenses and inventory shrinkage effectively.
• Oversee merchandising strategies and inventory management adhering to company procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Previous retail or management experience is mandatory.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, ladder climbing for over eight hours, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
