Role Overview
The Assistant Marketing Communications Manager supports the Director of Marketing Communications to deliver engaging, brand-consistent messaging across multiple channels. This role upholds the Mandarin Oriental brand integrity and assists with content creation as well as coordinating marketing, advertising, and media initiatives. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance of all brand assets, content, and materials.
- Oversee media planning, content scheduling, and documentation for campaigns.
- Support public relations efforts including press release preparation, media relations, and monitoring coverage.
- Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and internal teams.
- Manage the hotel’s image and video archives, and facilitate photography and videography projects.
- Contribute to local advertising activities and briefing creative teams.
- Address media and stakeholder inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Support marketing communications reporting, research, and administrative tasks.
Candidate Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality, high-end retail, agencies, or marketing sectors.
- Solid grasp of brand management, communication strategies, and media relations.
- Fluent written and oral English skills; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, proactivity, attention to detail, and capability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Passionate, professional demeanor with a collaborative and problem-solving attitude.
- Experience working in the Middle East region is advantageous.
