This role requires someone with strong creative judgment, a genuine interest in cosmetics, and a solid grasp of social media best practices in the luxury space.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, creative direction, and delivery of organic social activity across major platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Work closely with the social, brand marketing, and creative teams to build briefs, coordinate projects, and move deliverables forward.
  • Help develop quarterly and monthly content plans, messaging, and assets that support marketing and business objectives.
  • Build and manage the content creator program, including strategy, selection criteria, briefing, and relationship management.
  • Generate social-first content ideas and guide them from concept through final execution with the relevant teams.
  • Track luxury, beauty, and creative trends, as well as competitor activity, and translate timely insights into brand-relevant action.
  • Find partners and creators who can contribute assets for Hourglass channels, while handling briefs, approvals, and deliverables.
  • Review performance data, create recurring reports, and recommend improvements, platform best practices, and strategy updates.
  • Partner with the editorial team to write social copy that matches each asset.
  • Coordinate with influencer marketing on branded campaigns and help identify creators for paid opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a reusable library of externally produced assets that fit brand standards.
  • Manage publishing and community engagement across channels to help increase interaction and grow the social audience.
  • Support internal social shoots by preparing creative briefs, call sheets, and product orders.

Working Style and Fit

  • You should be highly organized and comfortable managing several priorities at once.
  • Attention to detail is important, especially when handling information that must be accurate and polished.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
  • You need to be adaptable and able to pivot quickly as priorities change.
  • A strong interest in beauty, media, and events is important, along with a willingness to take on tasks of any size.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in social media or marketing.
  • Experience building and managing monthly content calendars for Instagram and TikTok.
  • Working knowledge of current content and design requirements across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Comfort using social management and analytics platforms such as Dash Hudson and Meltwater.
  • Ability to use data and performance insights to shape content strategy.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Consistently high standards for quality and execution.
  • Must be available to work from the corporate office at least 60% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $80,000 to $85,000 per year. Actual pay will depend on factors such as experience, skills, education, location, and budget. The role is also eligible for the company discretionary bonus plan, based on individual performance and company results.

Eligible employees may receive medical, dental, vision, life, accident, critical illness, and disability insurance, along with retirement savings plans with company match, paid family leave, education-related programs, paid holidays, discretionary vacation time, and additional benefits.
