About the Role
A fantastic opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, innovative, and energetic individual to join Argyll and Bute HSCP as an Assistant Management Accountant. You will collaborate closely with the Management Accountant to support financial management services across diverse areas such as primary care health services, prescribing, and lead nursing services.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
You will assist with various financial activities including monthly financial reporting, costing exercises, analysis, and budget preparation. The role involves working alongside the senior Finance team and Management Accountant, contributing to delivering a high-quality management accounting function.

Candidate Profile and Essential Attributes
This position is especially suited for recent or new graduates possessing an HNC, HND, or Degree, or those with comparable relevant professional experience. Applicants should demonstrate:

- Proficiency with IT systems, specifically Microsoft 365
- A collaborative team-oriented approach
- Well-developed planning, organizational, and time management skills
Training and Development
Successful candidates will have access to training and support aimed at achieving a recognized accountancy qualification.
Additional Requirements
- The role requires occasional travel between various work locations within Argyll and Bute; hence, a full driving license is mandatory.
- The position is based in Helensburgh and offers a hybrid working model, allowing two office days per week with remote work on other days.
- Interviews are scheduled for August 13.
