Role Overview
Seeking an Assistant General Manager for Purchase to oversee material planning, procurement processes, and vendor negotiations, ensuring smooth and timely supply operations at the Pune location.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage material requirements efficiently to support business needs.
- Handle the complete procurement lifecycle including issuing purchase orders aligned with specified standards and turnaround time.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure quality inspections and delivery schedules are adhered to.
- Oversee supplier-related health, safety, and environmental contracts alongside conducting audits and performance evaluations.
- Ensure suppliers comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate degree required.
- Skills in purchase management, stakeholder engagement, ERP usage, and familiarity with ISO standards.
- Experience handling supplier HSE compliance and audits beneficial.
