Role Overview

This pivotal part-time position within the Commercial team focuses on managing Supplier Accountability reporting processes within the Zespri Group. The Assistant Commercial Analyst will provide essential analysis related to quality and commercial systems, supporting the Commercial Management team, Supply Chain functions, and the broader industry. This role reports directly to the Commercial Analyst and entails a fixed-term contract through March 2028, consisting of 22 hours per week, with flexible scheduling across 3 to 5 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Support establishment and maintenance of Supplier Accountability systems.
• Oversee quality results management from global markets including daily supplier approvals.
• Compute precise financial outcomes for Supplier Accountability shipments within industry deadlines.
• Deliver quality outcome reports to management, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within relevant systems as they arise.
• Conduct weekly and ad-hoc reporting for Commercial and Supply Chain needs.
• Identify and implement process enhancements for Supplier Accountability calculations.
• Excel in customer service connected to team activities and business objectives.
• Participate in organizational projects, analysis, and varied tasks as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Preferably hold a relevant tertiary qualification in business; however, this is not mandatory.
• Possess at least three years of experience in analytical or commercial roles.
• Demonstrate advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Capable of managing and manipulating large data sets effectively.
• Advanced analytical abilities are advantageous but not essential.
• Experience with SAP is beneficial but not required.
