As an Asset Protection Representative, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for customers and colleagues across high-volume grocery and pharmacy stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional presence to actively deter theft, fraud, and policy breaches.
• Lawfully detain offenders with confidence, adhering strictly to legal and company guidelines.
• Lead thorough investigations by collecting and analyzing evidence and collaborating with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Partner with store management to identify loss patterns and develop effective loss prevention strategies.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, security standards, and provincial regulatory requirements.
• Adapt flexibly to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with variable scheduling demands.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a valid Provincial Security Guard License and solid familiarity with the Criminal Code of Canada and related legislation.
• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems, surveillance equipment, and Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• A professional demeanor characterized by confidence, approachability, and excellent interpersonal communication.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and the ability to take initiative in problem-solving scenarios.
• Prior experience within grocery, pharmacy, or comparable high-volume retail settings is advantageous.

Additional Information

This position requires the candidate to be at least 18 years old and to successfully complete a criminal background screening as part of the hiring process.

Compensation for this role starts at $19.00 per hour, with consideration given to experience, knowledge, and geographic location.
