About the Role
Join one of Canada's leading retail teams where your vigilance and commitment contribute to safeguarding communities and enhancing retail safety. As an Asset Protection Representative, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for customers and colleagues across high-volume grocery and pharmacy stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional presence to actively deter theft, fraud, and policy breaches.
- Lawfully detain offenders with confidence, adhering strictly to legal and company guidelines.
- Lead thorough investigations by collecting and analyzing evidence and collaborating with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Partner with store management to identify loss patterns and develop effective loss prevention strategies.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, security standards, and provincial regulatory requirements.
- Adapt flexibly to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with variable scheduling demands.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a valid Provincial Security Guard License and solid familiarity with the Criminal Code of Canada and related legislation.
- Proficiency in operating CCTV systems, surveillance equipment, and Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A professional demeanor characterized by confidence, approachability, and excellent interpersonal communication.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and the ability to take initiative in problem-solving scenarios.
- Prior experience within grocery, pharmacy, or comparable high-volume retail settings is advantageous.

Additional Information
This position requires the candidate to be at least 18 years old and to successfully complete a criminal background screening as part of the hiring process.
Compensation for this role starts at $19.00 per hour, with consideration given to experience, knowledge, and geographic location.
