This role offers a unique chance to develop expertise in Asset Configuration and Data Management, contributing to the Riyadh Metro Project. You will be part of a motivated and dedicated team working closely with various departments involved in the operation and maintenance of the metro system.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage asset data by supporting creation and maintenance of asset records in IBM Maximo, ensuring accuracy and updated details such as serial numbers, software versions, and configuration data.
- Oversee obsolescence management by tracking asset and spare parts' lifecycle statuses, coordinating with Procurement, Engineering, and Design Authority teams, and maintaining an Obsolescence Tracker with current updates and action plans.
- Assist in managing material master data including SAP GSI part number creation and extensions, adhering to defined data standards and procedural compliance.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Power BI and Excel to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to uphold asset data governance and ongoing improvement efforts.
- Conduct quality assurance by reviewing and verifying documentation to ensure completeness, consistency, currency, and accessibility of records.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Keen interest in Asset Management, Configuration Management, or Data Management disciplines.
- Understanding of database concepts and principles related to data quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools.
- Experience or knowledge of Microsoft Power BI for data visualization.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Familiarity with ERP, EAM, or CMMS systems such as SAP and IBM Maximo is advantageous.
- Knowledge of rail or construction sector environments and engineering practices is considered a plus.
- Fluent in English with strong coordination and communication capabilities.
