About the Role

As an Archival Systems Analyst, you will contribute to advancing Fulton Hogan's objectives by aiding the retirement, archiving, and cleanup of outdated systems as the company transitions to SharePoint Modern.
This role is embedded within the Modern Information Programme, engaging with network drives, ShareFile, and legacy SharePoint platforms. Responsibilities include analysis, migration support, troubleshooting, and stakeholder collaboration, delivering a broad array of projects and opportunities to develop your career while driving impactful IT transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the archiving, retirement, and decommissioning of legacy technology, including G: Drives, ShareFile, and older SharePoint environments.
- Analyze file content to aid decisions on migration, archiving, retention, or deletion.
- Support migration preparation activities, validate processes, resolve issues, and produce progress reports throughout the programme.
- Collaborate closely with business users, technical teams, and delivery partners to address content management, access concerns, and system challenges with practical solutions.
- Maintain thorough records, documentation, approvals, and evidence to ensure compliance with programme standards and safety protocols.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in systems or business analysis, familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and file storage technologies or equivalent roles.
- Background in migration projects, archival processes, platform decommissioning, data cleansing, or similar technology transitions.
- Solid understanding of access permissions, metadata handling, records management, and information lifecycle methodologies.
- High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and capability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptable and team-oriented approach coupled with a strong commitment to safety, integrity, and delivering quality work.
