Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This fully remote position offers a competitive hourly rate between $40 and $50, with a flexible workload ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed floor plans and elevation drawings tailored to project specifications.
• Create comprehensive CAD drawings that support architectural and engineering needs.
• Accurately prepare Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts essential for manufacturing documentation.
• Generate and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics following industry standards.
• Design and review printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, ensuring manufacturability and functional effectiveness.
• Collaborate actively with stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and resolve queries.
• Compile thorough documentation packages aligned with project milestones and quality criteria.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive experience with architectural CAD and construction documentation is essential.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 2D/3D CAD software and PCB layout design tools.
• Demonstrated capability to generate and interpret complex GD&T callouts and schematic diagrams.
• Experience in developing multi-sheet electrical schematics and integrating PCB layouts within construction projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to organize multiple document sets effectively.
• Strong communication skills in English to ensure clear coordination.
