Role Overview

The A&R Manager for Asia functions as the main representative of Too Lost, fostering relationships with independent artists and labels in the region. Key responsibilities include educating potential clients about the Too Lost product offerings, managing priority client assets with technical accuracy, and seeking opportunities to onboard high-value music creators and catalogs. The ultimate aim is to expand the company’s footprint in Asia and amplify the commercial returns of ingested music assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough rights verification to confirm digital content eligibility and ensure ownership splits are correctly documented.
• Identify and generate leads by scouting independent artists, labels, and catalogs dissatisfied with their current distribution or administration arrangements.
• Present and promote Too Lost’s advantages to decision-makers and prospective clients.
• Guide clients through onboarding to upgrade them to premium service tiers when possible.
• Advise on catalog management to maximize revenue and shared ROI from key tracks.
• Serve as primary liaison between artists and onboarding teams to quickly resolve any content upload or delivery discrepancies.
• Address issues such as double claims or takedown requests emerging during distribution.
• Perform post-ingestion quality control on digital streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music to verify proper linking, profile matching, and preservation of play counts.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience and established network within A&R in the Asian market.
• Fluency in English and multiple local languages relevant to the region.
• Demonstrated success in building prospect pipelines through cold outreach and market analysis.
