Application Custodian

Overview

Infinite Aged Care is expanding and seeking an Application Custodian to join their team. This vital role involves managing all software applications utilized across the organization by overseeing procurement, configuration, monitoring, security, and overall maintenance to ensure they meet the needs of the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage application security groups and permissions to guarantee secure, appropriate access across all platforms.
• Prepare and update detailed documentation including user manuals and technical reference guides.
• Conduct training sessions for IT team members for level 1 support and deliver end-user training to encourage adoption and proficient usage.
• Handle cybersecurity tasks relevant to applications to ensure compliance with best security practices and protocols.
• Collaborate with IT personnel and other departments to address complex technical challenges, share expertise, and implement projects that enhance IT infrastructure.
• Analyze recurring problems to develop preventative solutions improving incident management.
• Provide remote technical assistance to users, ensuring reliable support independent of location.

• Strong resident-focused approach integrated into all work activities.
• Outstanding communication skills to interact effectively with users, translate technical terms into simple language, and produce clear documentation.
• Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service with patience and empathy during technical troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities to quickly and efficiently resolve technical issues.
• Ability to collaborate well within a team to achieve shared objectives.
• Preferred qualifications include a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with applications such as Clinical Manager, Resident Manager, BestMed, CarePage, iChris, TechnologyOne, Humanforce WFM, Atlassian Jira/JSM, DocuSign, Ausmed, Simple Food, Zipline, and Microsoft 365/Entra ID is highly valued.
• Demonstrated background in application management and cybersecurity in clinical or aged care settings, with proven vendor relationship and service management experience.
