Overview
Nightingale College seeks an Admissions Operations Coordinator to serve as the welcoming and dependable first contact for prospective and current students. This position uniquely blends hospitality with accuracy, providing friendly communication while ensuring admissions data is precise and audit-ready.
Primary Responsibilities
- Promptly responding to incoming leads through phone, email, appointments, and voicemail with excellent customer service.
- Acting as first point of contact, providing accurate information and maintaining full FERPA compliance.
- Collaborating across departments to keep student records current for effective communication and engagement.
- Entering and updating data accurately in learning management and customer relationship management systems in real time.
- Detecting and merging duplicate student records to enhance data integrity and operational workflow.
- Handling student applications, enrollment changes, payments, and refunds in alignment with policy and timelines.
- Conducting audits of new student documentation to ensure adherence to accreditation requirements.
- Preparing and submitting daily activity reports.
- Identifying process improvements and recommending changes to policies or procedures.
- Supporting various cross-functional projects with adaptability and eagerness to learn beyond routine tasks.
Work Schedule
- Standard shifts begin no earlier than 8:30 AM local time (9:00 AM for Eastern Time) and end at 5:00 PM local time (5:30 PM Eastern Time).
- One evening shift weekly: Eastern/Central zones extend to 8:00 PM; Mountain/Pacific zones extend to 7:00 PM.
- Occasional Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM; employees receive a 4-hour schedule adjustment on Tuesday or Thursday that week.
- Schedules may vary based on business demands.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in college admissions, data entry, or customer service is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is essential.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a pay rate of $25 USD per hour. New employees must attend a New Collaborator Orientation in Salt Lake City, Utah, with the college covering travel and lodging.
