About the Role
This position is for a remote, entry-level Administrative Assistant supporting a client through Careerscape. The role centers on keeping administrative processes organized, handling schedules, maintaining records, coordinating communication, and helping with everyday business operations.
It is a strong fit for someone who is highly organized, attentive to details, and interested in growing a career in administration, office support, business operations, or executive assistance. The role involves working with internal teams to keep workflows efficient, documents accurate, and daily work running smoothly.
Compensation
The pay for this position is between $55,000 and $75,000 per year, depending on experience, communication ability, organizational strength, and the client’s hiring requirements. Additional compensation and benefit details will be discussed later in the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle calendars, appointments, schedules, and meeting coordination
- Monitor and respond to emails and internal communication
- Create reports, documents, and presentation materials
- Keep records updated and maintain organized digital files
- Arrange meetings and support virtual conference scheduling
- Assist with data entry and database maintenance
- Help prepare, route, and file documents
- Coordinate administrative requests with different internal teams
- Track deadlines, follow-ups, and project progress updates
- Order and manage office supplies or other administrative resources when required
- Support special assignments and operational tasks
- Carry out general clerical and administrative work
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- An associate degree or bachelor’s degree is preferred
- 0 to 2 years of experience in administration, office support, customer service, or a similar field
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Good organization and time management abilities
- Careful attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to manage several priorities in a remote work setting
- A professional, dependable, and service-oriented approach
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
