Job description
Overview
Join a globally recognized manufacturer known for its stability and collaborative culture as an Accounts Receivable Analyst based in Dalton, GA. This permanent full-time opportunity begins with an on-site schedule for the initial 2–3 months, transitioning afterwards to a hybrid setup with 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days remote.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage daily Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including cash application, collections, invoicing, and account reconciliations.
- Supervise one AR/AP team member to guarantee prompt and precise AR processing.
- Monitor aging reports and maintain up-to-date collection logs, following up on outstanding customer balances.
- Address billing issues to ensure correct payment applications and reconciliations.
- Create monthly commission reports and assist with overall financial reporting.
- Conduct general ledger, financial, inventory, and cost analyses as required.
- Identify opportunities for improving AR processes and support ongoing enhancements.
- Collaborate with accounting and operational teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years' work experience specifically in Accounts Receivable.
- In-depth knowledge of AR procedures, credit management, and collection strategies.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and analytical skills related to financial, inventory, and general ledger analysis.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Dynamics and previous supervisory or team lead roles.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is $50,000 to $58,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include discretionary bonuses, comprehensive health benefits, and a 401(k) plan featuring a 4% employer match.
