Accounting Specialist with US Experience (Remote, Contract)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist with expertise in US accounting standards to work remotely on a contractual basis. This role involves applying GAAP (US) guidelines for reviewing and validating financial data, primarily to train AI systems. The position offers a flexible commitment ranging between 10 to 40 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of US accounting to examine, annotate, and confirm financial information for artificial intelligence training purposes.
• Ensure financial data accuracy and relevance based on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) of the United States.
• Partner closely with AI development teams by providing specialized accounting knowledge and detailed feedback about accounting procedures.
• Engage with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks to advise on accounting workflows and best practices.
• Assist in quality assurance by auditing training datasets, identifying inconsistencies, and pinpointing gaps.
• Prepare clear and concise documentation explaining complex accounting topics for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience and proficiency in using ERP software, preferably including SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks.
• Demonstrated background in financial annotation, auditing, and documenting processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify technical accounting concepts for a wide audience.

Compensation and Commitment

This is a contract role with hourly pay ranging from 90 to 100 USD. Work hours are flexible, with a commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week.
