Role Overview
The Account Manager position is a full-time role performed remotely, responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring the successful execution of Shopify-centric projects. The individual will serve as the main liaison for clients, translating their business goals into actionable project plans for internal teams. Key duties include coordinating timelines, tracking project progress, and communicating updates, risks, and enhancement opportunities proactively. The role requires frequent collaboration with technical and design teams to align quarterly project changes with clients' revenue and conversion objectives. Maintaining excellent client satisfaction levels, supporting contract renewals and upsell opportunities, and refining account management practices are also integral to the role.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in managing client relationships and owning accounts as the trusted advisor to multiple clients.
- Strong project coordination capabilities, adept at managing schedules, priorities, and cross-team collaboration within a remote work setting.
- Analytical proficiency with a comfort level in interpreting performance data, generating reports, and suggesting optimizations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to facilitate meetings and set clear expectations effectively.
- Background in eCommerce, preferably with Shopify or Shopify Plus, including knowledge of digital product lifecycles and conversion rate optimization strategies.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and structured approach to addressing challenges, risks, and process enhancements.
- Experience working remotely in a fast-paced setting with distributed international teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Previous experience in an agency, software-as-a-service (SaaS), or technology services environment is highly advantageous.
