Accommodation Assistant

Overview

The Johnstown Estate is seeking Accommodation Assistants to join the team responsible for maintaining high standards in guest room and lodge cleaning. Positions are available full-time in this dynamic environment.

Main Duties

• Maintain consistently high cleanliness standards across all guest rooms.
• Ensure lodges are cleaned thoroughly and to a high standard.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines.
• Follow fire safety protocols diligently.

Candidate Requirements

• At least six months of housekeeping experience at a 4-star hotel or equivalent setting is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Positive attitude and proactive mindset.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Skills

• Expertise in hotel cleaning procedures.
• Ability to clean public areas effectively.
• Experience with turndown service.
• General cleaning proficiency.
