Overview of Internship
This internship offers exposure to the burgeoning nutraceutical market of India, involving outreach, lead generation, and collaboration with start-ups and established businesses across health, wellness, and FMCG domains. The role demands robust communication skills, enthusiasm for business development, and the ability to engage directly with business founders and decision-makers.
Primary Duties
- Research and identify D2C brands, startups, FMCG companies, and health/wellness businesses that need product formulation and development support.
- Engage founders and entrepreneurs via LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, and cold calling methods.
- Qualify potential inbound and outbound leads effectively.
- Arrange consultations and meetings for the R&D and formulation teams.
- Keep CRM systems updated with current lead progress and follow-up actions.
- Develop comprehensive client databases spanning India.
- Support the creation of proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Maintain relationships and track progress through the complete sales cycle.
- Collaborate with internal formulation, regulatory, and operations departments for smooth client service.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, networking functions, and founder meetups as required.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional written and spoken English communication capability.
- Comfortable interacting with business owners and startup founders.
- Excellent research skills with strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Motivated self-starter with a target-driven mindset.
- Interest in startups, D2C brands, health, wellness, food, or nutraceutical sectors considered advantageous.
- Prior experience in sales or business development internships is a plus.
- Knowledge in CRM platforms and tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator for lead sourcing is beneficial.
- Understanding of dietary supplements, consumer food & beverage, or related brands is a bonus.
