We are currently seeking a dedicated Workshop Team Leader who excels technically and in leadership, committed to advancing our legacy as a world-class organization.
Role Overview
This full-time position, based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, requires overseeing the workshop team to maximize productivity through effective workload planning and management. The role balances 80% hands-on technician work with 20% leadership duties, reporting to the MENA Operations Manager to optimize team output. Responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HYTORC hydraulic torque tools and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Lead and manage workshop team to ensure high productivity levels
- Plan workload distribution efficiently to meet operational goals
- Inspect, maintain, and service hydraulic torque tools and equipment
- Use Microsoft 365, especially Excel, to create and manage detailed reports and data
- Document service reports meticulously and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members, ensuring clarity and professionalism
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues
- Read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics with precision
- Apply strong problem-solving, analytical, and detail-oriented skills
- Possess knowledge of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001:2015 standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience leading workshop teams with demonstrated success
- Established skills in workload planning and improving productivity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with emphasis on Excel reporting
- Technical expertise in hydraulic systems, mechanical and electrical components
- Excellent English communication, both written and verbal
- Relevant certifications or background in tool and equipment repair is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines preferred
