Workday Finance Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Workday Finance Consultant with 4 to 10 years of experience to work primarily in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, or Gurugram in a hybrid work model. The role requires a mandatory active Workday Finance certification focusing on P2P (Procure to Pay) or R2R (Record to Report).

Core Responsibilities and Expertise

• Hold an active Workday Financials certification in Record to Report or Contracts to Cash.
• Have at least three years of complete implementation experience in Financial Accounting, Common Financial Management, Banking and Settlements, and/or Customer Accounts.
• Demonstrate three years or more of relevant Workday experience, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Possess subject matter expertise in financial processes and reporting, including identifying automation and process improvement opportunities.
• Bring functional experience in multiple Workday Finance modules such as Financial Accounting, Common Financial Management, Customers, Customer Accounts, Banking and Settlements, Business Assets, and Projects.
• Conduct client collaborations and lead design sessions across different Finance modules.
• Have hands-on skills in configuring Financial Data Model (FDM) structures, business process configurations, and building validation or condition rules.
• Experience creating and troubleshooting Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) integrations.
• Provide expert functional support to clients by resolving complex issues within the Workday solution framework.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of Workday’s security framework, calculated fields, advanced report building (including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports), and notification setups.
• Understand and utilize various Workday data sources effectively.
• Analyze Workday release updates proactively to assess and address how new features or changes affect client configurations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in Reporting, FDM, or other areas related to Record to Report, Procure to Pay, or Order to Cash are advantageous.
• Experience with Customer Central for configuration and migration tasks is desirable.
