Web Developer

About the Role

This Web Developer position at Olik Global involves the design, development, deployment, and upkeep of specialized web applications. The job offers a remote working arrangement but requires periodic onsite presence in Sarasota, Florida for up to one week every quarter.

Responsibilities

• Create functional requirements and detailed technical designs based on business needs.
• Develop, test, maintain, and enhance web applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Build JavaScript libraries with reusable UI components to promote consistency across interfaces.
• Collaborate effectively with backend developers to integrate server-side logic.
• Write clear, well-documented source code aligned to internal standards.
• Maintain and update internal style guides to ensure UI uniformity.
• Apply user experience best practices for optimal interface design and usability.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years' professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery/AJAX, JSX, Webpack.
• Advanced knowledge of ReactJS ecosystem including NX, Zustand, and React Router.
• Experience with UX/UI design principles and responsive web development.
• Competency in working with XML and JSON data formats.
• Understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility issues.
• Excellent design and coding capabilities.
• Proficient in testing and debugging using tools like Jest.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GIT and SVN, adhering to revision control practices.
• Previous experience in Agile software development environments.

Additional Information

This role offers a contract to hire (CTH) arrangement with a salary range of $85,000 to $105,000 annually. While primarily remote, candidates must be able to attend the Florida Sarasota office quarterly for brief periods.
