Position Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Warehouse Operations Specialist responsible for overseeing inbound and outbound material processes. This role is vital to maintaining efficient warehouse operations, precise inventory control, and strict adherence to safety and quality requirements. The specialist will coordinate logistics activities, ensuring compliance and effective teamwork throughout.
Key Duties
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments to confirm quantity and quality against purchase orders or delivery documents.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely to transport goods to assigned storage locations.
- Keep detailed records of received goods and accurately document transactions in inventory systems.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the appropriate teams and support coordination for quality inspections.
- Manage booking and allocation of storage locations for finished products and tools using system tools.
- Pick and prepare materials carefully according to order requirements for outbound shipments.
- Label, pack, mark, and stencil outbound goods following established standards and securely load them onto transport vehicles.
- Segregate materials for inspections by internal teams or third parties and organize storage per warehouse layout and procedures.
- Take and share product or shipment photos as necessary.
- Assist with inter-unit material transfers and demonstration material handling tasks.
- Participate in warehouse cleanup, housekeeping, and reorganization efforts.
- Support special projects and undertake safety inspections of racks and warehouse equipment.
- Uphold Emerson's ethical guidelines and trade compliance policies rigorously.

Qualifications and Experience
- Holder of a bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent in business, engineering, logistics, or supply chain.
- 2 to 3 years experience in warehouse operations or material handling roles.
- Understanding of warehouse workflow, inventory management, and documentation processes.
- Excellent attention to detail committed to quality and accuracy.
Preferred Credentials
- Certification in supply chain management or related fields.
- Valid forklift license with practical operational experience.
- Proven skills in optimizing warehouse processes and enhancing operational productivity.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards relevant to the warehouse environment.
