Warehouse Manager

About the Role

We are in search of a proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations at our Orlando warehouse. This role involves managing inventory accuracy, supervising shipping and receiving processes, leading warehouse personnel, ensuring safety compliance, and driving continuous improvements in warehouse functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of daily warehouse activities including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and logistics coordination.
• Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse team members including associates, supervisors, and support staff to foster a high-performance culture.
• Track and analyze productivity metrics, labor usage, and key performance indicators to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Maintain precise inventory through cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and reconciliation procedures.
• Create and enforce warehouse policies and procedures aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and safety standards.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipment schedules with transportation providers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and corporate safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Optimize warehouse space by managing layout and storage strategies effectively.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, and Customer Service departments to address and solve inventory and fulfillment challenges.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement aimed at cost reduction and productivity enhancement.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience in warehouse management will be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years experience managing warehouse operations within distribution, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience overseeing warehouse teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of inventory control, shipping and receiving operations, and warehouse best practices.
• Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems and ERP software tools.
• Strong capability with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example in demanding, fast-moving environments.
