Role Overview
Join JD.com as a Warehouse Associate in Saudi Arabia, contributing to the efficient and accurate management of inbound and outbound shipments within a large-scale logistics operation. This role involves handling shipment reception, processing, loading, unloading, inventory organization, documentation, and safety maintenance to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments by verifying quantity and product type accuracy, inspecting for any visible damage, and reporting discrepancies promptly.
- Handle shipments carefully during unloading and transfer them to designated storage or staging zones safely.
- Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments in alignment with schedules, confirming details such as destination and load accuracy, and liaising with transport teams to enable timely dispatch.
- Efficiently load and unload transport vehicles utilizing proper equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks while maintaining shipment integrity.
- Manage warehouse inventory by relocating and organizing materials appropriately; assist in stock verifications related to shipment movements.
- Maintain accurate shipment records in warehouse systems for tracking inbound and outbound goods, supporting audit processes.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and operational guidelines, maintain cleanliness and orderliness, and report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with logistics, transport, and warehouse control colleagues to ensure seamless warehouse flow and communicate effectively regarding any delays, damages, or related concerns.
