Role Summary
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a critical role in preparing furniture for delivery to customers. This position is central to ensuring furniture is handled with care and prepared efficiently for its journey to a new home.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process inbound stock accurately using warehouse management systems.
- Carefully inspect items to identify and report any damage or defects.
- Assist with loading delivery vans to ensure timely and efficient distribution.
Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift and move heavy furniture.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a safe environment for all.
- Motivated by variety in daily tasks and comfortable with adapting to different situations.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to collaborate well within a team setting.
Schedule & Work Conditions
- Four-on, four-off shift pattern: 7am – 7pm shifts, providing extended time off between work rotations.
- Permanent role with a predictable schedule (averaging 39.35 hours per week).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: £27,441 per annum (£13.36 per hour), with potential annual bonus of up to £2,000 (paid quarterly).
