Waiter

Position Objective

The waiter is responsible for preparing the dining area before service, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and fresh throughout the shift, alongside their primary duty of attending to guests during service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with morning cleaning tasks within the restaurant.
• Clean all service utensils thoroughly before each service period.
• Support the captain waiter in setting up the restaurant.
• Maintain personal cleanliness and uphold a high standard of hygiene.
• Assist the captain waiter with mise en place preparations.
• Deliver food items from the kitchen to the dining area.
• Help the captain waiter in serving food plates to customers.
• Replace ashtrays and refill water glasses during service times.
• Clear and clean tables after customers have finished their meals.
• Transport used dishes and glasses to the dishwashing section.
• Follow instructions and work collaboratively under the guidance of the captain waiter.
