Video Data Annotator

Role Overview

We are seeking a Video Data Annotator to work remotely on a contract basis. This position involves the detailed labeling and reviewing of video footage related to robotics, requiring 10 to 40 hours of commitment per week with compensation at $7 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully annotate and review robot-related video content following strict guidelines.
• Evaluate video clips to ensure data quality, relevance, and precision of annotations.
• Mark and identify particular actions, objects, or events captured in the videos.
• Cooperate with the project team to ensure annotation criteria are clearly understood and followed.
• Keep records of annotation choices and suggest improvements to annotation protocols.
• Conduct quality control checks to confirm compliance with the project standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience with video data annotation using multiple platforms.
• High attention to detail and dedication to producing accurate, high-quality annotations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for remote collaboration and reporting.
• Previous work with robotics footage or similar annotation tasks in the robotics domain is highly preferred.
• Competence in interpreting and applying comprehensive annotation guidelines and scoring systems.
