Role Overview

The Udaan Data Analyst role is an entry-level opportunity within Myntra's activations team based in Bengaluru, designed for those aiming to grow their skills in data analytics. The position focuses on leveraging SQL, Excel, and business analysis to inform decision-making and support various operational activities throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean, and analyze extensive datasets using SQL to uncover trends and important insights.
  • Develop and sustain Excel-based reports and dashboards that encapsulate critical business metrics and performance indicators.
  • Partner with business units to comprehend their data requirements and deliver actionable insights to guide operations.
  • Maintain data integrity by performing thorough validation and quality assurance checks on datasets.
  • Provide on-demand data analysis support to various teams as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as Business, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related areas.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SQL for database querying and data retrieval.
  • Exhibit advanced Excel expertise, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formula creation, and analytical tools.
  • Show strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to derive meaningful insights from data.
  • Understand core business processes to translate data analysis into clear, actionable business recommendations.

Additional Information

This role operates exclusively onsite in Bengaluru and spans six months. It is a paid position focused on fostering the growth and integration of People With Disabilities into the professional environment. Participants can expect to work alongside industry leaders on relevant projects tailored to their interests and competencies, with potential for future full-time employment within Myntra.
