Role Overview

The Trainee Financial Advisor position is a full-time, hybrid role based in Clonee, County Meath, offering flexibility with working remotely. In this capacity, you will assist senior advisors in delivering financial advice which includes pension assessments, investment strategies, and protection products. Daily tasks involve collecting and analyzing client data, preparing financial reports and suggestions, maintaining compliance with regulatory record-keeping standards, and managing client communications to schedule meetings and follow up on inquiries. Additionally, you will support presentations and workshops for both public and private sector clients.

Training and Development

This role includes structured training opportunities, ensuring you remain knowledgeable about current legislation and financial products. You will contribute significantly to maintaining exemplary client service standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities to accurately interpret financial and pension data.
  • Excellent communication skills capable of clear, professional report writing and relationship building with clients.
  • Effective organizational and time management proficiency with high attention to detail to juggle multiple client files.
  • Comfort with basic IT tools such as MS Office, CRM software, and a willingness to learn specialized financial planning platforms.
  • A sincere interest in financial services, with a focus on pensions and long-term planning, alongside a client-oriented approach.
  • Possession of or progress toward relevant qualifications such as QFA or similar certifications in financial advisory is advantageous.
  • Experience in client-facing or administrative roles within financial services or related areas is preferred.
  • Capability to work seamlessly within a hybrid environment, collaborating locally and remotely while upholding high professional standards.
