Role Overview

This role involves close collaboration with Development, Trading, and IT teams to maintain and optimize trading operations. The incumbent will continually enhance the firm's ability to detect and resolve trading-related issues and deliver exceptional support for traders. A key focus will also be driving strategic initiatives aimed at advancing trading operations and underlying technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing trading platforms spanning multiple markets.
• Providing monitoring and support for Linux-based environments.
• Supporting traders and trading infrastructure within the trading sector.
• Partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to propel business goals.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex problems beyond common solutions.
• Assisting trading teams in onboarding new opportunities.
• Contributing to automation efforts and process enhancements.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a trade support capacity.
• Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and Multicast protocols.
• Intermediate skills in Bash scripting and core Python; experience on significant Python projects is advantageous but not essential.
• Capability to analyze order event streams through logs and network captures.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, entrepreneurial settings.
